Since 1876 our Archer family has farmed “Landfall” on the banks of the Tamar River in Northern Tasmania. As the fifth generation on the land we quickly recognised the need to diversify to fulfil all our dreams - to stay connected to our roots. Landfall Farm Fresh was established by the five Archer siblings and is now primarily run by Ellie, Mimi and Frank.

Our farm is only 10-15 minutes north of Launceston and our animals are nurtured in a humane, low stress, free range environment. Our animals are quickly recognisable as the healthy, happy stock that can be spotted from your car window as you cruise along the East Tamar Highway.

Offering grass and grass products such as hay and silage and treating our stock with the respect they deserve has been a historical trait of the Landfall Farmers. We credit a large proportion of our success to our primary production enterprise and the work and dedication of our previous generations. Over the years much time and research has been invested in the Landfall stud with selection of genetics from around the globe to produce quality animals.

The beauty of being able to receive stock directly from our farm is our point of difference. We can very honestly tell you where our meat comes from given we breed, birth and raise all of our own animals.
